Every Thursday morning (just like every morning) the AYC Staff begins to prep our classroom for the day's classes...so why is this day any different than the rest? Family Night is the night before. As you know, every Wednesday night many families of Annisquam gather at the Club and enjoy a good dinner with friends, and a video is shown for the younger children upstairs in the Junior Program's Classroom; and every Thursday the JP Staff finds food and candy ground into the floor and drying sails/sheets, and half eaten/drank everythings on the chairs, in the changing rooms, and on window sills. While we appreciate the comradarie of Family Night, we don't appreciate the classroom, sailing gear, and our Yacht Club, being treated with such disrespect. Please encourage your kids to follow the rules outlined on the signs posted outside the Classroom space: NO FOOD NO DRINK. Please have them eat downstairs before coming upstairs to enjoy the film, and or please do a quick scan of the room of trash before you pick your kid up. Thank you for your cooperation with this!
