Despite light wind in Marblehead harbor yesterday, our sailors once again performed extremely well!Because of the large amount of boats participating in the Opti Green class, the racers were split into two fleets. We are proud to report that all of our Opti sailors are currently placed in the top half of their respective fleets.
Sam Denney is in 3rd place including a first place finish. Will Friend and Peter Thibideau are both in 8th place in their respective fleet. Followed by Arjen Steegstra and Soren Rossi who are both currently in 11th place in their fleets.
Our 420 Green racers continue to demonstrate strong racing skills as Ben MacShane and Walker Babson are in 6th place, followed by Peter Remsen and Grace Papp who are currently in 10th place, including a strong 3rd place finish in the final race yesterday.
