Lunch Policy

One of the big changes to the JP this year is the implementation of a “lunch menu” in lieu of participants charging lunch at the snack bar. Lunch is included as part of the cost of the program this year.

On a daily basis, participants of the program can choose from 1 of 2 items offered on the menu. The two items on the menu change daily, similar to a school lunch program. If a participant does not want to order from one of these two items, we will always offer a grilled cheese or peanut butter and jelly sandwich as an option. Each lunch also include a snack, carrots, small dessert, and a drink (water, juice, milk).

We have stressed to all participants that any orders made at the snack bar outside of what is being offered on the menu that day will result in a charge on their families’ account.

We ask that you please discuss this policy with your children at home. We want all participants to have a clear understanding of what their family has decided is acceptable to charge at the snack bar.

If you do not want your children to make any charges at the snack bar, please notify Joe Maher, program director at squampd@yahoo.com and our staff will do our best to take preventative measures.

Thank you for discussing this matter with your children.

Best Regards,

Joe Maher
Program Director
