Friday: USTA Match and Greenhead Regatta

The Greenhead Regatta at Ipswich Bay is this Friday, July 22nd. This is a good regatta for some of our less experienced sailors to test out their racing skills, so we are encouraging non-racers to attend. If your son or daughter is interested and can participate, they should return the permission slip (signed) they received in class today. There are more permission slips available at the front office.

As of right now, we are planning to meet at the club at approximately 8:30 am (could change based on quantity of boats we might have to tow) Friday morning to tow over to Ipswich Bay. We will be returning from this regatta late in the afternoon on Friday.

There is also a USTA match that day as well against the Ipswich Country Club. Your child should speak to Todd if they plan to play. Due to the timing of these events, they cannot participate in both the regatta and the USTA match. The younger players (orange balls) will play at home (2:00), the older players (yellow balls) will meet at AYC at 1:15 pm to leave for Ipswich CC.
