Annisquam YC brings home the Tim Baker Trophy!

Twenty years ago today, current Boston College Sailing Coach Greg Wilkinson brought home the most coveted North Shore Junior Sailing Trophy--the Tim Baker. Last Friday, Greg's current prodigy and senior member of the Collegiate National Championship Team Evan Cooke, newly inducted BC frosh Alex Cook, and the lone Jumbo Ben Fichera, brought home the overall TB Club Trophy--with AYC placing first, third, and fourth after the day's six races. Strong sailing and consistent results in a building light breeze led to the sailors' success. Nick H. along with crew Mackenzie H. took home the honors at the most important regatta of the season with three bullets. Daisy H. said the day was "a lot of fun" with "perfect wind" and the coaches agreed that they had never seen her smile so much in a sailboat!
