Regatta Update

The past week and the week ahead are busy ones for our racing team...Congratuations to Coach Will Felder and sailors Grace Papp, Peter Remsen, Mac McHugh, Peter Thibodeau, Adam Piispanen, and Sam Denney on their participation in the Edgartown Regatta. It was a tough field with close to a hundred boats in the fleet, but our sailors gained some valuable experience and had a great time on Marthas Vineyard.

Today we have two 420 boats participating completing the Hingham Regatta. After day one, both of our boats were in the top 5 of the standings! Good luck today!

The rest of our racing fleet is participating in the annual Greenhead Regatta at Ipswich Bay.  Our 420 and Opti Racing Teams hope to have a strong showing in this fun one day regatta.

On Monday, Marblehead Race Week begins and Annisquam Yacht Club will be well represented as our 420 and Opti Racing teams will compete at Pleon.

We are very proud of of our racers and all of our sailors as they continue to demonstrate a competitive spirit and sportsmanship. If you see a young sailor around the club, please take the time to congratulate them.
